Ingredients
  

Protein
  • 1 pound chicken breast sliced thinly
  • 1 pound tofu cubed
Vegetables
  • 1 cup bell pepper sliced
  • 1 cup carrots julienned
  • 1 cup snap peas
  • 1 cup onion sliced
Sauce
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce optional
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger minced
Herbs
  • 1 cup Thai basil fresh
Oil
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Method
 

Prepare the Ingredients
  1. Slice the chicken or tofu and vegetables as indicated.
Make the Sauce
  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, sugar, garlic, and ginger.
Cook the Protein
  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a wok over medium-high heat. Add the chicken or tofu and stir-fry until cooked through.
Add Vegetables
  1. Add the sliced vegetables to the wok and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
Combine and Finish
  1. Pour the sauce over the stir-fry and toss to combine. Add the Thai basil and stir until wilted.
Serve
  1. Serve hot over rice or noodles.
