Ingredients
  

Salmon
  • 4 fillets salmon fillets skinless
Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • ¼ cup fresh lemon juice about 1-2 lemons
  • 2 tablespoons capers drained
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped
Seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon salt to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper to taste

Method
 

Prepare the Salmon
  1. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil and butter. Once hot, add the salmon fillets.
  3. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
Make the Sauce
  1. In the same skillet, add chicken broth, lemon juice, and capers. Bring to a simmer.
  2. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until slightly reduced.
  3. Stir in chopped parsley and return the salmon to the skillet, spooning the sauce over the fillets.
Serve
  1. Serve the salmon hot, drizzled with the lemon-caper sauce.
