Ingredients
  

Walleye Fillets
  • 4 fillets walleye skinless
Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
Cooking Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for frying
  • 4 tablespoons butter unsalted
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tablespoon parsley chopped, for garnish

Method
 

Prepare the Walleye
  1. Pat the walleye fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt, pepper, and paprika.
Cook the Fish
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the walleye fillets and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
Make the Lemon Butter Sauce
  1. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add butter. Once melted, stir in lemon juice and cook for 1-2 minutes until slightly thickened.
Serve
  1. Plate the walleye fillets, drizzle with lemon butter sauce, and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve immediately.
