  • 1 cup almond milk or any plant-based milk
  • ¼ cup chia seeds
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey for non-vegan option
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Toppings (optional)
  • ½ cup fresh berries such as strawberries, blueberries, or raspberries
  • 2 tablespoons nuts or seeds such as almonds, walnuts, or pumpkin seeds
  • 1 tablespoon coconut flakes unsweetened

Method
 

Prepare the Chia Pudding
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together almond milk, chia seeds, maple syrup, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  2. Let the mixture sit for about 5 minutes, then whisk again to prevent clumping.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a jar or container with a lid and refrigerate overnight (or for at least 4 hours).
Serve
  1. In the morning, stir the chia pudding and add a little more almond milk if it's too thick.
  2. Top with fresh berries, nuts, seeds, and coconut flakes as desired.
