One Bowl Banana Bread

Ingredients
  

Wet Ingredients
  • 3 medium ripe bananas mashed
  • cup melted butter
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Dry Ingredients
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup sugar can use brown sugar for a richer flavor

Method
 

Prepare the Batter
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
  3. Stir in the melted butter into the mashed bananas.
  4. Mix in the beaten egg and vanilla extract.
  5. Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the mixture and mix in.
  6. Add the sugar and flour, and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
Bake the Bread
  1. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  3. Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
