  • 1 stick cinnamon

  • 2 teaspoon sweet paprika
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

Cooking Steps
  1. Prep the chicken by trimming excess fat; slice onions, mince garlic, and zest one orange.

  3. Increase heat to medium-high and brown chicken thighs for about 5 minutes per side.
  4. Squeeze juice from half the zested orange over the chicken; add broth and cinnamon stick.
  5. Bring to a simmer, cover, and cook on low heat for about 30 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat, discard the cinnamon stick, and serve with couscous or crusty bread.
