Ingredients
  

Pasta
  • 1 cup orzo uncooked
Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 medium lemon zested and juiced
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
Herbs
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley chopped
  • ¼ cup fresh basil chopped
Garnish
  • ¼ cup parmesan cheese grated

Method
 

Cook Orzo
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the orzo and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.
  2. Drain the orzo in a colander and set aside.
Prepare Sauce
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper.
Combine
  1. In the pot, combine the cooked orzo with the sauce, chopped parsley, and basil. Toss until well coated.
  2. Serve warm, garnished with grated parmesan cheese.
