Ingredients
  

Citrus Hydration Base
  • 2 cups water filtered or spring water
  • ½ cup fresh orange juice preferably from ripe oranges
  • ¼ cup fresh lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 2 tablespoons honey or agave syrup for sweetness
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt for electrolytes
Optional Flavor Enhancements
  • 1 cup fresh berries strawberries, blueberries, or raspberries
  • 1 tablespoon fresh mint leaves for garnish

Method
 

Prepare the Hydration Drink
  1. In a blender, combine the water, fresh orange juice, fresh lemon juice, honey, and sea salt. Blend until well mixed.
  2. If using, add fresh berries to the blender and pulse a few times to incorporate without fully blending.
  3. Pour the mixture into a pitcher and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to chill.
  4. Serve over ice and garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.
