Ingredients
  

Shrimp
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
Sauce
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce low sodium preferred
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons green onions, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Method
 

Prepare the Sauce
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, minced ginger, and sesame oil. Whisk until well combined.
Cook the Shrimp
  1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque.
  2. Pour the sauce over the cooked shrimp and stir to coat evenly. Cook for an additional 2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Serve
  1. Remove from heat and garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds. Serve immediately over rice or noodles.
