Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 6 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 8 oz lo mein noodles
  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
  • 4 green onions, chopped
  • 3 tablespoon low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with water Mix cornstarch with 2 tablespoon of water
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Prepare ingredients by chopping chicken into bite-sized pieces, mincing garlic, slicing bell peppers, and chopping green onions.
  2. Cook lo mein noodles in salted water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and toss with sesame oil.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken, season with salt and pepper, and cook until golden brown (5-7 minutes).
  4. Push chicken to one side, add garlic, bell peppers, and half of the green onions; sauté for a few minutes until softened.
  5. Mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch-water mixture, and remaining sesame oil in a bowl. Pour over chicken and veggies.
  6. Add cooked noodles to the skillet; toss everything together until well coated in sauce.

Notes
