- Season the sirloin steak with salt and pepper. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steak for 4-5 minutes per side until it reaches your desired doneness. Let it rest before slicing.
- Slice the baguette diagonally into half-inch thick pieces. Brush both sides with remaining olive oil and toast at 400°F until golden brown.
- In a small bowl, mix minced garlic with olive oil; spread on each toasted baguette slice.
- Thinly slice the rested steak against the grain. On each slice of bread, layer sliced steak, halved cherry tomatoes, and basil leaves.
- Drizzle with balsamic glaze and serve immediately.
