  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 cups candy melts
  • 1 cup sprinkles optional
  • ½ cup cream cheese frosting

Method
 

  1. Prepare the cake mix according to package instructions, combining it with the eggs, water, and vegetable oil.
  2. Bake the cake as directed and allow it to cool completely.
  3. Crumble the cooled cake into a large bowl and mix in the cream cheese frosting until well combined.
  4. Shape the mixture into egg shapes and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Freeze the cake pops for about 30 minutes until firm.
  6. Melt the candy melts according to package instructions.
  7. Dip the end of a lollipop stick into the melted candy and then insert it into each cake pop.
  8. Dip each cake pop into the melted candy, ensuring it is fully coated, and allow excess candy to drip off.
  9. Decorate with sprinkles before the coating sets.
  10. Allow the cake pops to harden on a stand or in a foam block.
