- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.
- In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat and let it cool slightly.
- In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition.
- In another bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in the orange zest and juice.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out mostly clean with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow cooling before cutting into squares.
