  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts about 1.5 lbs
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic minced
  • 12 oz fettuccine or penne pasta
  • 6 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 3 tablespoon low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Prepare your ingredients by chopping garlic and slicing chicken into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Cook pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
  3. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt half the butter. Add chicken, season with salt and pepper, and sauté until golden brown (6-8 minutes).
  4. Remove chicken from skillet. In the same skillet, melt remaining butter, add garlic, and cook until fragrant. Stir in soy sauce and honey.
  5. Combine drained pasta with the sauce and cooked chicken in the skillet, adding reserved pasta water as needed for creaminess.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with parsley if desired.
