Ingredients
  

Lasagna Layers
  • 9 sheets lasagna noodles uncooked
  • 15 oz ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 4 cups marinara sauce store-bought or homemade
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  2. Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce at the bottom of the crockpot.
  3. Layer 3 sheets of lasagna noodles over the sauce.
  4. Spread half of the ricotta mixture over the noodles, followed by a layer of marinara sauce and a layer of mozzarella cheese.
  5. Repeat the layering process: noodles, ricotta, marinara, mozzarella.
  6. Finish with a final layer of noodles, marinara sauce, and top with remaining mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
Cooking
  1. Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 6 hours or on high for 3 hours.
  2. Once cooked, let it sit for 10-15 minutes before serving to allow it to set.
