Method
Prepare the Marinade
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the bourbon, soy sauce, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, garlic, ginger, and olive oil until well combined.
Marinate the Salmon
- Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.
Grill the Salmon
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the salmon from the marinade and discard the marinade.
- Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the grill. Cook for about 4-5 minutes, then carefully flip and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
Serve
- Remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy with your favorite sides.
