Ingredients
  

Wet Ingredients
  • 3 medium ripe bananas mashed
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Dry Ingredients
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  3. Add the sour cream, melted butter, beaten egg, and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas. Mix well.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Do not overmix.
Baking
  1. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  3. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
